Tuesday is Wax Museum Day. Please come join us if you can. The museum will be open from 10:20-11:45 in the morning and 12:50-1:30 in the afternoon. If you can't make it, check out the student's speeches.
Wednesday is the party. If you haven't done so, please send in $4.00 for pizza. Your student also needs to bring his/her own drink. Some students signed their parents up for chips/dessert etc. Ask your child if he/she did this to you!
Thursday is the Rising Stars Ceremony from 9:30-11:00. All parents are welcome to attend. All students will walk across the stage at least once. Please have your child dress appropriately for the occasion.

Welcome to 5th grade. Our website is a great tool for parents to know what is happening in the classroom. Please peruse through the site. The test schedule is updated every Monday and is located under the Weekly Test Schedule and Information link to the right. Every week we will send you an email reminder to tell you when the test schedule is updated. Daily homework is not put on the website as it is the student's responsibility.

Please look at the other links to the right to help you with your child's education. Essay due dates will give you the topic and date of the next essay due. School district websites include a link to Glenwood's website as well as the school system's back to school website and other helpful sites. Educational website includes a variety of websites to help your child in each subject area. Suggested field trips has great ideas to help you integrate family time with what we are learning. What we'll be learning gives you a brief overview of the school year by subject.
